I have just completed recording my 67th album for de Wolfe. This ambitious project will be released as part of the specialist Jazz series and was recorded entirely on my new Estonia concert grand in my studio at home.

2009 is the centenary year for De Wolfe music and I am proud to have worked with them for more than a quarter of that! I am also very proud that I have more tracks in the De Wolfe catalog than any other composer. Please click on the picture for more on the history of this amazing company.

I was delighted to be invited to be a guest on the BBC Radio 3 Pianothon a few weeks ago. My impromptu improvised duet with well-known jazz pianist Julian Joseph was broadcast recently.
My 9' Estonia concert grand is now well played-in and settled in the new studio and I hope to be doing some serious recording on this magnificent instrument in the very near future. Look out for some new videos at my YouTube site Here soon.

I am delighted to announce that I have just placed an order for the stunning new 9' Concert Grand piano from Estonia for my recording studio. The Estonia is one of the very few pianos still hand made to order, and ranks amongst the finest in the world. After careful consideration of makes such as Steinway, Bluthner, Grotrian Steinweg, Yamaha and Schimmel it was decided that the Estonia had the best tonal quality for my requirements coupled with superb craftsmanship, wonderful quality of finish and value for money. I have just finished working on some incidental music on the Carnival Film production 'Christmas At The Riviera' starring Warren Clarke, Pam Ferris, Alexander Armstrong, Sam Kelly, Darren Boyd, Anna Chancellor and Reece Shearsmith. This comedy drama film will be shown on ITV1 on Monday 24th December.
You can currently hear my arrangement of 'Jingle Bells' on the Setanta Sports Channel Christmas Advert with Des Lynam being broadcast on most ITV channels.

I have just completed an album of very early/pre-jazz music for the DeWolfe Library covering styles such as Cakewalk, Ragtime and early Blues. It was an interesting challenge to score for relatively unusual intruments such as the Sousaphone, banjo and skulls.

ITV is currently broadcasting repeats of the series ' It Shouldn't happen To…..' usually on Saturday evenings primetime. I composed this theme tune when the big band mambo sound of Perez Prez Prado was having a popular revival.

I have received a number of emails enquiring about the music used on the video tribute to Pope John Paul II currently being distributed on the Internet. I am therefore including the details here:
The track is called ‘ Never Forgotten’ from the album ‘ Life’s Moments’ published by DeWolfe music on DWCD 0330 (First published 2002). The CD is a production music CD and not generally available to the general public as a commercial release. However, it is possible to audition all the tracks on the album on the DeWolfe website.
